Keynote and Conference Schedule Published

The full schedule for the MeeGo Conference has been published, and we have a great lineup of speakers and activities.

On Monday, May 23rd, we'll start off with registration and breakfast from 7-10am to give you plenty of time to get settled and catch up with other people working on MeeGo, before we start the keynote at 10am. Rather than having several small keynotes, we decided to have one big keynote with many participants. Jim Zemlin, Executive Director at The Linux Foundation, will begin his keynote by providing his perspective on the MeeGo Project today. He'll follow those remarks by bringing onto the stage a variety of project contributors and leadership to help attendees intimately understand the work that is happening on MeeGo and how it is shaping the future the project.

After lunch on May 23rd, we have a full afternoon of sessions from 1:40-5pm, including the State of the MeeGo Community, Brilliant User Centered Design, QML UI Components, and many, many more. These sessions will be followed by a Welcome Reception from 5-7:30pm in the Atrium at the Hyatt.

On Tuesday, May 24, we have an exciting, action-packed day of sessions from 9am until 5pm. Sessions include Architectural Updates, Qt Mobility APIs, MeeGo IVI Working Group Updates, Why MeeGo TV is important to the community, Birds of a Feather talks, and so much more. After the sessions we have a fun evening event at the Exploratorium, the museum of science, art, and human perception, where you can play with science toys while getting know other people involved with the MeeGo. Chartered buses heading to the Exploratorium will pick people up from the Hyatt starting at 6:30pm with drinks, dinner, and fun from 7-11pm.

On the final day, Wednesday, May 25, we have another full day of sessions, including Internationalizing your Code, interactive audio and video sessions, along with more Birds of a Feather sessions.

And if that isn't enough for you, we have a full weekend of Warm-Up sessions and activities on May 21st and 22nd. We have developer sessions on the MeeGo SDK, Qt, OBS, Linux development, and UX development along with fun activities like Siege weapon building with live action Angry Birds and Werewolf games in the Hacker Lounge.
