One of the many challenges in most Open Source projects lies in the nature of a distributed team. Communication is usually less straight forward than among people who share an office, and creativity takes a detour.

In this presentation, I will share my experiences with organizing and running developer meetings of different sizes and introduce the thoughts and concepts behind the Qt Contributors' Summit.
