MeeGo Architecture Update
Session Summary:
MeeGo has gone through major changes recently. You will learn which components got dropped and which component remained as part of MeeGo 1.2. We attempted to simplify things wherever possible so that we could maintain and support those components. For example, we decided to replace Buteo/Tracker with SyncEvolution/EDS as we did not think we could maintain and support Buteo and Tracker. We will go through all the architecture domains in MeeGo and provide you status of where things are at with MeeGo 1.2.
Session Abstract:
MeeGo Architecture defines full open source software platform for broad range of computing devices from handsets, tablets, netbooks, connected TVs, media phones and in-vehicle infotainment systems. In that respect it provide one API set and one SDK across these devices.
This session will provide details regarding where we are and what to expect for application framework, MeeGo APIs and Core OS. We will get into details and status on all the Core OS domains like Security, PIM, Graphics, System, Multimedia, Communications etc.
