Wayland BOF
Session Summary:
With the core MeeGo UX running on Wayland, it's time to take a look at how and when to transition. We'll run this BoF as a brainstorm/meeting type of session and discuss everything from the practicality of packaging Wayland to how it affects the rest of the system.
Session Abstract:
There's a lot of ground to cover and we won't be able to figure it all out in this session. Some of the open questions we'll try to answer, or at least understand better are
- What's the impact on the higer level UI components?
- When can we switch?
- Who is involved?
- How are applications affected?
- How do we deal with legacy applications?
as well as concerns or questions from the audience.
