Aaron McCarthy is a Senior Software Engineer at Nokia's Qt Development Frameworks. He has been using and developing on Linux since he was introduced to the OS in 1998. After joining Trolltech in 2006 as a system integrator for the Qtopia platform and he was heavly involved in the Greenphone project and work on various hardware and system level featues. Currently he is working within the Qt Mobility project creating new APIs for mobile platforms, including cross platform local connectivity APIs or Bluetooth and Near Field Communication.
